Personal Trainer Jeff's Report April 2019

As for the B5 mix, I’m still very much enjoying the effects when mixed with my other supplements. I feel like Superman. Was able to do a shoulder isolation exercise for 15 reps with 20 lb dumbbells yesterday that I used to only be able to do 10 reps with 10 lb dumbbells. Could blame it on working on shoulders more than I used to and just getting stronger that way, except I haven’t worked on shoulders before this in like 2 or 3 weeks, and I normally don’t see that kind of improvement after neglecting a muscle group like that. Also my shoulders started looking noticeably bigger before I even finished the workout.

It’s almost working too well; I sort of feel like I’m cheating.

I also had an even more intense leg workout than the one I told you about previously, but this time I was sore for quite possibly the longest I’ve ever been afterwards, I wanna say for the next 8 days, so pretty much the opposite of the first time. But it was quite possibly the most intense workout I’ve ever had, so that wasn’t all that surprising. And [deleted\ noticed reduced soreness when I gave her a packet along with some other free amino supplements. I give the same supplements to [deleted] and then some after a workout, minus the packet because she can’t tolerate the taste even with the electrolyte stuff, and Katie is always very sore the next few days.

Jeff's Update March 27, 2019

"Wanted to update you on something else I’m noticing with the B5 mix. I worked out again on Sunday but I wasn’t going to report on it yet because I cheated and took four packets beforehand again; I couldn’t resist because it was a lower body day and those are my favorite work out days so I wanted to make sure it was the best workout possible.

I spaced the packets out better this time. I also took some of my other workout supplements along with the B5 mix, just to see what would happen. Short version is, best workout I’ve had in a long time. Not only did I enjoy it way more than usual and feel really good afterwards, I was noticeably stronger and able to do more reps than with just the other supplements I take by themselves, and it took me longer to tire out than usual too.

For the first exercise I did I was able to push myself to do 5 sets of 20 reps, starting with heavy weight to begin with and increasing the weight each set except for the last, where I kept the weight the same. Compared to usual, I’ve only been able to do 20 reps for the first set or two with weight that heavy, after that I would max out around 10 or 12 reps unless I lowered the weight. Sometimes 15 on a good day. So like I said, quite a considerable improvement.

But the other thing I’m noticing is, I was never sore from the first workout I had with the B5 stuff on Saturday, and the workout Sunday I was kinda sore immediately following the workout, but since then, very minimal soreness. Monday and Tuesday and no soreness at all today. Usually I get very sore within the next couple days after a very intense workout like that, and usually it lasts for at least a couple days. So it seems to speed up recovery by a very considerable amount too.

Usually I end up waiting about a week before I work on legs again. It’s only Wednesday and I feel like I could work legs again today if I wanted to! Should keep in mind though that I took a fifth packet after both the Saturday workout and the Sunday workout. I also took two packets on Monday and two packets yesterday, but I didn’t have time to workout either of those days.

Today I plan on actually following the rules of the experiment and working out after only one or two packets without the other supplements and see how it goes. I brought extra as a backup but only to take if I feel like I need them. I’ll let you know.

Another less positive note would be that I had [girlfriend] try one on Sunday and she did not care for the taste at all. We tried mixing it with some other stuff but she couldn’t tolerate the taste until we added something with sucralose in it."

Could Every Other Weight Loss Guru Be Wrong?
